Ronnie Wood trips and loses his footing as he arrives at his gig

Ronnie Wood struggled to make his way to his gig as he tripped and lost his footing while battling his way through the crowds outside the venue on Wednesday.

The Rolling Stones rocker, 72, luckily had his wife Sally Humphreys by his side to keep him upright as the couple walked along arm-in-arm together. 

The singer was swarmed by over zealous fans as he made his way to the All Saints Church venue in Kingston-Upon-Thames ahead of the performance.

Ronnie wrapped up warm for the chilly climes and layered his white shirt with a grey hooded jacket and a black mac jacket with skinny jeans.

He added a pop of colour to his muted ensemble with a pair of yellow leather gloves, while keeping it fairly casual with a pair of black trainers.

Meanwhile his wife Sally, 41, looked effortlessly glamorous in a black leather jacket which she accessorised with a red heart print scarf.

Sally and Ronnie tied the knot in December 2012 and welcomed daughters Gracie and Alice into the world in May 2016, two days before the musician’s 69th birthday.

Ronnie is also father to Jesse, 42, whom he shares with his late first wife Krissy, who he was married to from 1971 to 1978.

The Rolling Stones rocker married second wife Jo Wood, 64, in 1985 and the former couple had two children together; daughter Leah, 41, and son Tyrone, 36. He also adopted Jo’s son, Jamie, from a previous relationship.

Ronnie and Sally first met just over a decade ago, when she was working at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, while Ronnie was still married to second wife Jo .
